Home Whitening Kit – Costs R2000
While once off whitening occurs in the dentist’s chair, some patients may opt for the home whitening kit. The kit contains soft plastic trays moulded to fit over your teeth and 3 syringes of whitening gel.
The Procedure
At night after brushing your teeth you need to place a small amount of whitening gel into each tooth space of the soft plastic tray, then place the trays into your mouth and sleep with the trays overnight. In the morning you are to brush and floss as normal and wash out your trays with water. This procedure needs to continue for 14 days to achieve optimal results. Thereafter move onto maintenance whitening.
